$23 Ice Cream

I can’t believe the cost of ice cream these days! Bringing my niece out yesterday for a much deserved celebration after securing her scholarship, I was aghast when our Ben and Jerry ice cream came out to a whopping $23.00 for 4 scoops!
Guess who’s never going back there for ice cream …

You’re kidding me! Either I’m away for too long or S’pore’s really getting expensive and they say that London’s expensive! Wait a minute, S’pore is ranked above London for being expensive to live in the most recent survey. So that’s about right.
But S$23 for 4 scoops of icecream?! Then again, I just paid 9 pounds for my laksa just now. Erm…

Hey CK, haven’t seen you for a while. Yah, isn’t it crazeeee? It’s not even that great- the ice cream. As for Laksa, Food Republic charges $6.90 so $9.00 in London sounds about right, heh heh
