The most expensive Melon in the world!

I couldn’t believe it … wouldn’t believe it, but it’s true. This Japanese watermelon is a whopping … well, look at the price tag yourself and weep.
Apparently, it is so expensive because there are very few that actually make it out of the forest grounds where this melon grows. Completely organic, the flesh is supposed to be as sweet as honey but refreshing at the same time. My mom asked, “should we try at least once in our lives?” I didn’t respond.

Egads, why would anyone pay so much for this melon? And why is Cold Storage importing this in? I mean, do people really buy this?

today i was checking out bangsar shopping center. they have a melon that cost RM 460 each which from Japan and a small box of grape retailing for rm299 which from japan as well
