Were will 2010 bring us?
January 5, 2010
This was taken during our trip to New Zealand and it seemed like most of the time, this was what we were looking at, the road and endless mountains. I suppose sometimes life feels a little bit like that and it reminds me of a joke that the very funny Caroline Rhea told during her stand up. “What’s the difference between being depressed and being bored?”
“You get depressed when you realize that we’re all going to die one day. You’re bored when you think, gosh, what are we going to do until then?”

Hopefully though, even if it is a Chinese curse, your 2010 is more interesting than an endless road that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. If you’re lost, hopefully you won’t only find your way but you’ll also find lots of new ways and friends that you would never otherwise have made.
If you’re just slogging through, hopefully you’re able to make the journey more meaningful by sharing it with loved ones- and if they’re absent, to go find/make some loved ones, heh heh.
And if you’re already enjoying and looking forward to 2010 and the possibilities, may it truly bring you what your heart desires (so long as its good) and may every day be an opportunity to be better than the day before.
